Building a High Availability, Multiservice Campus Network

Enterprise campuses require a highly available and secure, intelligent network infrastructure to support business solutions such as voice, video, wireless, and mission-critical data applications. There are many protocols and features network engineers can use to build enterprise networks which meet business needs, such as QoS, Spanning-tree, HSRP, OSPF or EIGRP, VLANs, and private VLANs.

CCNA Discovery and Exploration

CCNA Discovery was recently created specifically for high school students. CCNA Exploration was created specifically for colleges and universities. Both curricula help students to master the fundamentals of computer networking. The curricula comprise the most interactive online networking curriculum to date.

Can Your Scanner Do This? 3D Scanning on Your Desktop

This presentation will introduce participants to the 3D desktop scanner by NextEngine. We will explore the features and capabilities of the scanner, the software interface, and many of the possible uses of the device. We will also demonstrate the scanning process and the subsequent printing of the 3D scan file on a 3D printer.

Finding information on the Web - Use of Google Search Operators

"flatness" of the world makes it essential that people can gather information off the Web in a timely manner. Failing to be able to search the Web for information effectively, puts you at a disadvantage to people who are able to do so. This session will show you some of the things that the Google search engine makes available, and gives you some practice at using the most commonly used search operators.

Hawaii DOE Computer Literacy Certification & Magnet E-Academy Program Update

The Hawaii DOE offers curriculum programs in computer literacy certification for middle schools students and advanced technology for high school students that prepare them for post-secondary academia as well as careers in the technology industry.
