Presenter Bio: Bred, born, and raised in Hawaii L.P. "Neenz" Faleafine is the Chief Evangelist for leading news aggregation site, Alltop ranked by Alexa as one of the top 2K sites in the world and the Founder of Hawaii based media marketing company, Pono Media. Often called an Ambassador of Aloha, Neenz is the Executive Editor of online magazine, Hawaii Traditions and a contributing blogger to the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau's official blog, So Much More Hawaii. Focused on building communities, Neenz is the Social Media Director for the Neil Abercrombie for Governor campaign.

Presenter Bio: David Nelson is responsible the VMware IT Academy Program and facets of the VMware Academic Program as well as eLearning and Business Development for Education Services. Previously, he was responsible for Sun Microsystems's Technology & Academic Resources philanthropic programs and prior to that was a Sr. Director responsible for Content Development, the Sun Educational Services business in Europe, Middle East and Africa and earlier for North America and Australia Educational Services.
Mr. Nelson has an MBA from Syracuse University with over 40 years of software development and customer service management experience in the computer industry.
Presenter: Richard Weeks
Presenter Bio: Richard Weeks has been working in Information Technology for over twenty six years. Richard is President and cofounder of Network Development Group Inc. (NDG). For the past ten years NDG has developed software for hosting computer labs for distance learning. NDG's NETLAB+ solution enables collaborative online learning using real equipment resources hosted at academic institutions worldwide. NDG is currently working with the VMware IT Academy Program to develop a remote lab solution.
David Nelson will share an Introduction on virtualization technology and describe VMware's Academic and Academy programs.
Join Jonathan as he describes the use of social media both within and beyond the classrooms walls in an education institution. He'll describe the way the Native Hawaiian Center at Honolulu Community College has used it to promote events and services and build an extended community of students. He'll also describe how he's used it as a Graduate Teaching Assistant to build strong, effective learning communities amongst his students at the college level.

Presenter:Judith Beaver
Presenter Bio: Judith Beaver is the Director of Instructional Technology at Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii. With over 30 years of experience in the field of education, Judy's background is quite varied and includes classroom teaching as well as administrative experience in admissions, financial aid, human resources, and supervision of grades 3-5. She is a graduate of University of California Berkeley, and has an MBA from the University of Hawaii.
Judy is also the coordinator for the Punahou Technology Summer Lab School, a program focused on research and development as well as faculty professional development. She is particularly passionate about brain and learning theory and the use of technology to create learning environments in which all children can be successful learners.
Judy was named an Apple Distinguished Educator in 2005 and has made numerous presentations on technology both in Hawaii and on the mainland.

Multiuser Packet Tracer
Packet Tracer 5.x is a network-capable (peer to peer) application, using the real network (TCP socket connections) to carry the Packet Tracer virtual packets. This connectivity between multiple instances of PT supports teamwork, classroom games, collaboration, competition, remote instructor-student interaction, and social networking. This hands-on session will introduce participants to multiuser Packet Tracer. Participants in this session should already have a basic knowledge of Packet Tracer, or have attended the Beginning Packet Tracer Session.
